TinyTalk Rochester and Malling

STORY: I took my daughter to see the health visitor for the 10 month developmental review and whilst there she signed “what?” pointing at a toy. The health visitor said “aww, she’s trying to wave” and I explained that actually, my daughter was asking me what the toy was and the sign was intentional. She was amazed that my daughter could communicate with me before she could say the word. I spoke about TinyTalk and the difference it made to our lives. Since then, my daughter’s list of signs has continued to grow. She looks through books and can point out different animals, signing them correctly and I wholeheartedly believe her signing ability reduces her frustration and enables her to continue being the happy baby she is.
