I have been with Rachel Hutton at the TinyTalk Baby Sign - Toddler Talking - Bognor Regis & Chichester for a full year of terms with my little boy. Although I was nervous to start with him at just 4 months old, it was definitely the best decision I made, and it was purely down to Rachel. Having given birth to my first born during Covid, I wasn’t able to join any classes, so this was all new to me. I’d been to a few drop in baby groups in the past but nothing full time. Being honest, I found the whole cutsie, OTT nature of the other teachers insufferable. But then there’s Rachel! The literal perfect mix between fun, loving and endearing for the kids (mine certainly loves her, let alone all the others that go up to be replaced by the bear for the session 😂) and a welcoming, down-to-earth friend for the parents. I said it once in the feedback and I’ll say it again for this competition, I truly made a friend in Rachel and would never have continued to keep coming back to the group term after term this year if it wasn’t for her. She is a true credit to your team and I am honestly quite gutted to be moving simply because tomorrow is my final ever session! So a massive thank you, Rachel. You have made Christopher and I feel welcome, important and special this year and we love you 🥰
I have been taking my son to Rachel's classes since he was 5 weeks old, he's now 2 and 1/2 and moved up to the toddler classes and we still can't get enough. The enthusiasm, energy and passion Rachel shows in her classes is second to none and I am so pleased I gave my son a way to communicate with me from so early on. Even though he's talking more (and more and more every day!) signing is still a massive and extremely handy part of our daily lives - especially when he's saying new words and I can't quite figure out what he's saying (for example "hee cop" for helicopter) it's so handy that he's able to sign to me what he means as saves us both a lot of frustration trying to figure out what he's saying 😂 I can't recommend Rachel's classes enough, both the baby and toddler classes are amazing.
Having a baby during a pandemic has made me and A miss out on so much that we should have enjoyed together - I reached out to Rachel and was delighted she was able to squeeze us in! A absolutely loves dancing along to all the songs, and learning all the new signs. It’s such an engaging class full of sensory, fun and games - i highly recommend it! We can’t wait to be back. We started tiny talk classes when my little girl was 5 weeks old and I was desperate to get out and try a class after one of the lockdowns. 10 months on we still go! My little human loves the classes, she beams from start to finish especially loving the nursery rhymes when we are bouncing around. Thoroughly recommend. I enjoy chatting to other mums too. It’s just an all round lovely format. Rach is wonderful, welcoming and being a mum too is a fountain of knowledge. Thanks Rach!
I had my Baby Girl during lockdown and as such, was very anxious about taking her to any groups. From the first message, Rachel has been amazing. She is so supportive and kind; nothing is too much trouble. My daughter now claps when I sing her the welcome song at home! The first part of each session is more structured, with songs, signing and props (fab photo opportunities!). The second part is for social interaction which has been really nice. 100% recommended.
Theodore and I have thoroughly enjoyed our first half term of Tiny Talk with Rachel. All of our classes have fun, interactive and we are both learning. We are given new signs to learn and practice and way to encourage our babies to sign throughout the week. Rachel will let us know in advance what we will need for the session to help solidify the new sign. Once the class is over we have the opportunity to chat and support each other. Rachel has also been supporting us mummies with our Friday nap time natter which has given us an opportunity to meet other mums in a climate where this just is not possible to do in person. Thank you for a fantastic first half term of Tiny Talk we look forward to our next.
I was really reluctant to start doing zoom classes because I really like the classes in person BUT I have absolutely loved doing Rachel’s classes, she is sooo good and the energy and enthusiasm even though it’s through a screen really comes through. We have very little to look forward to at the moment but having this was a nice little midweek break! I 100% recommend. Thank you Rachel! See you next term!!
Me and Mabel love TinyTalk. The classes are fun and engaging and I was surprised at how much Mabel absorbs from them. Making her first sign at 4 months! As a pandemic baby I was worried about how Mabel would engage with other people and these classes gave us both more confidence navigating the world as a baby and a new mum!
I had my first baby at the start of the first lockdown. It meant I wasn’t able to go to in person baby classes but i searched online and found Rachel’s classes. I was apprehensive at first, wondering whether online would work and if my little one would be able to enjoy the activities. My worries were quickly alleviated after the first session. Rachel is so kind and reassuring and she makes her classes so much fun. I have now been able to join in person classes and they are just fantastic. My little one has learnt so much and is already signing, which is so wonderful to see. I look forward to continuing with Rachel at TinyTalk for a long time
Rachel makes each class so much fun with a lovely mix of songs, sensory and signs. She makes the class work for little and bigger babies so there is something for all of them. My little boy has enjoyed the classes so much, we’ve had so much fun going. She also put a lot of effort into making the class Covid secure which we really appreciated.
George & I have loved coming to TinyTalk. Rachel is very welcoming and the songs are great fun and easy to follow, while learning signs to teach your little ones. Zoom classes were great during lockdown too, and didn’t feel like we were missing out (minus having a cup of tea made for me 😄).
I was feeling really rubbish this morning with the thought of lockdown, so glad we can do this online, I’m feeling much more positive now thanks Rach and everyone xxx
Hey Rach, I just wanted to drop a text and say I was super apprehensive about going back online, I found it all so stressful last time, but today, using Zoom was brilliant, it was so lovely having you able to interact with the kids, and interact with each other. I am seriously happy, and J tidied his mats away, said red and then signed it ❤️ thank you for being amazing x
We love our class, you are great teacher, very friendly. We feel safe (covid) as you very looking after us and always looking forward to come back to your class xx
I've been taking my little man to Tiny Talk since he was a couple of months old. We've loved it from the beginning! The class has a variety of activities that keep the little ones engaged, while providing lots of fun opportunities to learn signs. Rachel the instructer is amazing, incredibly helpful and welcoming. The second half of the class focus' more on the social side of things, for the babies and us parents! A chance for a cuppa and chat while the little ones play. I have a singing pack at home and I incorporate the signs into our daily lives. My little boy is currently 14 months now and smiles when he gets to the class. He's signing quite a few core signs already. money and time well spent!! 10/10.
I have been taking my son to TinyTalk Bognor for just over a year now and I can't recommend it enough. Rachel has been a brilliant teacher from the start, she's enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. Rachel is there when I need a bit of encouragement and has excellent advice when things might not be going quite how I hoped (oh hello signing strike) I knew baby signing was something I wanted to do with my baby as I wanted to enable my son to communicate with me as early as possible - I couldn't think of a greater gift to give my child than a way to tell me how he was feeling or what he wanted before he could talk. I am so glad I found Rachel's classes as we've found more than just a signing teacher, we've found a friend.
We love Tinytalk, it is our favourite baby class! Rachel is brilliant, and everyone is so friendly. The classes are well thought out and lots of fun; we always look forward to Wednesdays!
Kobe and I love our Tiny Talk class! Rachel and all the other mums/dads and babies are so friendly and we feel really welcome. Rachel is also always very encouraging and helpful too. Kobe is quite a shy baby and sometimes takes a while to feel comfortable in new situations, but he’s always loved Tiny Talk, we’re so happy we found this class!
We really enjoy our Tiny Talk class! It's a great way to develop baby's language, all while having fun and making friends! Rachel is great and really makes the class special and fun! We always feel welcome 💜
Rachel’s classes are really great. I love that the signing is incorporated into the songs, making it really fun for the babies. We focus on a few core signs each week, making it easy for me to remember even with the sleep deprivation and baby brain! Plus Rachel gives out really helpful prompt sheets. Florence particularly loves the props, sensory activities and the time to play at the end. I also really enjoy the time to play at the end as it’s nice to have time to chat with other parents whilst having a cuppa and a biscuit!
My 6 month old son and I have only been to two classes but absolutely love it already! He is already signing milk which is amazing and we can't wait to learn more. Rachel is a great teacher and makes each lesson really fun and engaging! We can't wait to see what the rest of the term brings! xx
My little dude has started going to TinyTalk at 4months and Rachel is so welcoming and friendly we feel like we’ve known her for ages! Thank you for making our journey to signing so exciting. I would highly recommend Rachel TinyTalk classes!!!
Rachel is a fantastic teacher with a real passion for what she does. Both myself and my boys love going to her class each week and we have learnt so much already. We love TinyTalk and couldn’t ask for a better teacher.
My son and I have started up baby signing classes with Rachel and we absolutely love it. It’s a really fun and friendly class. Rachel is really engaging and fun to learn from. I’m looking forward to my sons first sign! I would recommend theses classes to anyone xxx
My 6 month old daughter and I have been going to Rachel’s class for a few weeks and we both love it! Rachel is very welcoming and brilliant with all the kids. The class has a great atmosphere and everyone is really friendly. Our whole family is now using some of the signs at home. Thanks Rachel!
Excellent baby signing classes! My little girl loves every second and has already started signing to me, it's lovely to be able to understand and meet my babies needs I can't thank you enough x
Couldn't recommend Rachel and her TinyTalk class enough! My son and I have alot of fun during classes and its so rewarding to see him learning in such an enjoyable way. Being able to communicate with your children before they can talk is simply amazing, Thank you Rachel!
