Why we love TinyTalk!
Nikki is a fantastic teacher - warm, enthusiastic and friendly. Tiny Talk is our absolute favourite class - not only have the signs my child has learned improved our communication, but the classes are thoroughly enjoyable and always have a great, inclusive atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend these classes more highly.
My little girl and I love TinyTalk. Nikki is baby whisperer and gets my girl to smile even when in melt down. Signing up to this class was best thing I did. Learning to sign helps me understand my little girl before she is able to talk. It's also a blessing to be able to have hot drin,k choccy and chat while the littlens play. Nikki is a testament to herself. She is having to open more slots due to how amazing she is. Now to do classes for older toddlers to school age. then will be perfect <3
I would like to say that your class has easily been my favourite, you are so lovely and created an environment so safe and friendly, making it easy to connect with other mums. Also your ability to remember everyone's name is seriously impressive. So thank you. I only wish I started sooner! If we are lucky enough to have another baby I will be registering as soon as I can! xx
Fantastic baby class with energetic and fun teacher. A lovely aspect is that parents are encouraged to chat at the end with a free drink and biscuit.
Nikki is a true master of her craft ✨ Thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, professional, and fun. We will miss her!
Nikki makes this class so special. We did the class for 18 months, and both my son and myself loved it! Nikki is amazing, very kind and thoughtful too. You are made to feel very welcome, she introduces everyone by name every week, and you get some chilled time at the end for a coffee and play which is just lovely. The class has a really nice feel to it. It’s really fun, singing and dancing, and really helps younger children be able to communicate and bring on their communication skills through speech and sign. I would highly recommend this class for all the above reasons. My son absolutely loved it. Thank you so much Nikki x
Dear Nikki, your class has not only supported our signing journey, but my well being as well. I always looked forward to coming to class, as I knew there would be a smiling face, hot drink, snack and no pressure to be on time - all the things a very sleepy and often overwhelmed parent covets. R loved the class too - singing and signing the welcome song on TinyTalk day and yelling "see Nikki Ted!" We will miss TinyTalk so much!
We've really loved coming to class and X really enjoys all the singing. We were so sad to finish today. You're really good at what you do and you've created something really special. I can see how much the children and parents love the class. I hope you are proud of what you have achieved :)
TinyTalk is one of the best classes I have ever attended with my little girl! Nikki is a brilliant teacher (and great singer on top of that) and makes the class so welcoming for everyone. Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex. Not only has she helped me and my daughter learn sign language and fun ways to sing and sign. But she's helped me teach my non speaking autistic son to sign and shown so much love and acceptance towards him. She's changed our lives, and given my son a new way to communicate <3
Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex is incredible! Always makes us feel so welcome, she's so knowledgeable and always has time to answer any questions I have. She works so hard and puts so much love and care into running her classes. She's amazing and inspirational!

Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex is absolutely wonderful! A natural and engaging teacher with a great singing voice too! Nikki Hunt is the most amazing teacher I have ever come across, her classes are such a warm welcome space which makes learning so easy and fun. My little one lights up when they see Nikki. She is always smiling and has so much energy. Our favourite class and so great to be able to communicate from such a young age.
Oh gosh - 1 million % Nikki Hunt at TinyTalk Mid Essex I cannot express the warmth and love that Nikki puts into her classes. Her enthusiasm is next to none and I have never come across another parent who has said anything less. My baby, Penny, lights up when I bring her to class and I do too <3
This lovely lady and her wonderful welcoming class completely changed how I looked at baby classes. To spend time with your little one, in a friendly safe environment is one thing, but to learn to communicate with them through sign from such a young age amazed me and still continues to do so even now when my little one is 19 months old. Thank you for such a lovely class.
Cannot recommend this class enough! From the moment we joined, Nikki made us feel so welcome. I joined with my daughter when she was 6 months old and her little face lights up when we walk in. She LOVES the class just as much as I do. Every week brings something new and exciting to learn and it's a fantastic way to communicate with young babies. I only wish I'd found it previously with my two older boys!
We had the best experience with Nikki. TinyTalk is a special class but it takes a special person to lead it too. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable and my little boy grew in confidence and picked up so many signs! It is so fun and such a great skill to learn with your baby and I would highly recommend this class to all parents <3
We have attended TinyTalk for about 9 months now and we absolutely love it. We look forward to it every week! Nikki is wonderful, she is brilliant with all the babies and makes you feel very welcome and valued. Our little one is now signing many signs and it has also encouraged her a lot with her first words too. Her classes are highly recommended!
The classes with Nikki are amazing! I already know lots of signs so wasn't sure if it would be worth it, but my little girl absolutely loves the sessions. They are so relaxed as well that it doesn't matter if your child likes to cause a little chaos and doesn't want to sit still!!! My little girl loves it and at the end she gets to play with toys while I enjoy a rare hot drink!!
Me and my little one really enjoy these sign classes which are genuinely beneficial to helping your little one communicate before they can talk. They are so fun and upbeat and Nikki creates a lovely welcoming atmosphere for babies and parents alike!
Best class ever! You won't be disappointed! Nikki is everything you would ever want from a baby class leader, professional, interactive, fun and approachable. Baby signing is such a special thing to learn with your little one and with Nikki it's even better. We love our Fridays xx
I've been taking my little girl Emily to TinyTalk for a few months now and we both love it so much! She (and I!) have made lots of new friends, and we both look forward to our hour of signing and signing every week with Nikki. She's a natural with the little ones, and has them all smiling, laughing, clapping and singing along, it's a really heart warming environment to be in :)
Our TinyTalk classes are the highlight of our week. Nikki is brilliant! The classes are really fun as well as being a brilliant way for our little one (and us parents) to learn signing. Everyone is very friendly and it is a lovely environment to be in. I cannot recommend enough!
The best class for all babies, toddlers, mums, dads, grannies and grandpas! I cannot recommend TinyTalk and Nikki enough, Nikki is so passionate and dedicated to everything she does, she's a real shining light full of smiles, laughter, enthusiasm and positivity. Nikki is such a huge support and reassurance both in and out of the classes on both class and non signing related matters. Being deaf myself, BSL is highly important to me, especially so more recently as I'm losing the remainder of my hearing. Yes I could have taught my daughter myself but she would never have had the fun, friendships or memories made and she also won't feel isolated having signed with other babies, toddlers and families. We attended classes from 4 months- 2 years and were both equally as sad to see this chapter come to an end, my little one with over 125 signs, new friendships and having the best time. TinyTalk really is something you don't want to miss out on, it quickly becomes your favourite time of the week signing, coffee, biscuits and friendship what more could you possibly want?
We have been going to TinyTalk for over a year now. Nikki is a great teacher and is great with the babies and toddlers. Having lost my hearing in my left ear it's important to me that my daughter learns BSL. Yes I can teach her but she takes it all in in class and sees everyone else signing and not just me. Highly recommend.
We love TinyTalk, Nikki is the most fantastic teacher! My son has learnt lots of signs which has greatly aided communication. We have been going since he was 7 months and now he is 2 and about to finish his journey! I wish I had started with him even sooner! It's a lovely, friendly, welcoming class and feels like a little safe haven to enjoy time with other mums and bond with your baby/toddler. Highly recommend!
Such a great class! The nursery rhymes and songs are super fun and a great introduction to baby signing. It's also nice that there are toys to play with along with the songs and the tea and biscuits at the end is a lovely touch. Nikki is a fantastic and enthusiastic instructor who is super personable and makes you feel right at home in her classes. Couldn't recommend more!
This is definitely one of the best baby classes I have been to with both my kids. It has everything, singing, dancing, signing, play time afterwards and drink/snack for parents, which is a great way to also meet other parents. The signing is great as you feel your little one is really learning something, which helps with communication in the early months/years. My eldest really enjoyed all the signing even though we stopped going many months ago, he still continues to do the signs and communicate with us more effectively. Nikki is very good and engaging and a great support in general, even on things non TinyTalk related. Such a brilliant class that I have now returned with my second!
Brilliant classes! I wish I had taken my eldest to them when he was younger. My 1 year old loves going every week and has now learnt 13 signs and uses them to communicate with us. Nikki is so lovely and very welcoming. Bonus points also for being a good singer <3
We have absolutely loved TinyTalk and recommend it to everyone! It has been my favourite class on maternity leave and I'm genuinely sad to have to go back to work and miss it <3 Thank you! <3
Nikki is fantastic - personable and friendly. Other classes we have tried have felt like we are just making up the numbers but at TinyTalk we feel valued. We started at 8 months old and still love it. Dietary requirements (snacks and hot drinks) are catered for with no fuss, such a relief. The classes themselves are full of fun and learning. I am sad that it is our last term.
This class was our favourite baby group to be a part of. Nikki is so engaging and all of the classes are varied and educational. She always goes over and above and amazingly remembers everybody's names! My son (1yo) has already started signing and although we have stopped the classes the foundation Nikki has provided enables us to continue signing at home. It has been a great class for meeting other mums and finally enjoying a hot drink. Thank you Nikki, you're a superstar.
It's one of our favourite classes to do together and one of the only ones that we're continuing now I'm back at work. The class is lovely, really engaging for the little one and the time for coffee with mums afterwards is great! Definitely recommend to everyone!
We absolutely LOVE attending TinyTalk. My little boy has developed so much ability to communicate and is picking up sounds and words along with his signs. It's so nice to be able to understand his needs through signing and enjoy the songs in class and at home. Nikki is amazing, I love how she tracks and logs his development. We would highly recommend these classes <3
We love going to TinyTalk, the classes are fun and engaging, my son spends most of the time staring at Nikki! He is only little but takes so much in, I can't wait to see him start signing. Nikki makes the signs fun and easy to remember so that you can practice them at home. I would 100% recommend this class, you won't be disappointed! You even get a hot drink and chocolate at the end! I did not expect anything when we started the classes and thought I'd just support the new business and have a nice cup of tea with some friendly faces each week. But your class has been amazing! It's been so lovely watching him learn and how proud he is of himself when he can tell us what he wants. On days when he isn't well and doesn't have the energy to tell us what he needs or what's wrong, he can communicate with us all and I love it!
We love Nikki Hunt <3 She is a lovely person and runs the classes so well. Her approach is fantastic and every class is so much fun. My little girl LOVES it!
Nikki Hunt at TinyTalk Mid Essex. She's literally the best. You can see her passion and care for the babies shining through. So engaging and at the end of the phone if we have any questions (or sending her videos of baby signing at 9pm!) She really is the best!!

I would love to nominate Nikki at @tinytalk.mid.essex. My daughter is deaf and we were struggling to get her to engage with signing as a form of communication. With Nikki's enthusiasm, patience and friendliness she was able to pick up over 50 signs in 12 months and we're a much happier family for it. I cannot recommend Nikki's classes enough and there's more than one reason she's already fully booked for next term! We were gutted to leave Nikki when my daughter turned 2 but I'm so happy that I feel we have a friend for life. Thank you so much Nikki, you'll never know how much your classes meant to us these last 12 months <3
I would like to nominate Nikki. Our TinyTalk sessions are such a joy to attend! Nikki is kind, warm and engaging with babies and parents alike; it made me feel so welcome from day one. Everyone is utterly transfixed when she signs and sings because she does it so beautifully (and does the best animal sounds I've ever heard!) Her positivity is infectious, I always leave the session feeling brighter and that is so important as a new mum.
We just love our sessions with Nikki at TinyTalk Baby Signing Mid Essex - Maldon, Witham & Braintree!! We've been attending for a year now and even though I've had to go back to work, we've roped Nanny in so that Arlo can still go along! Nikki has been great to accommodate Arlo's additional needs with his VI and he just loves her! We don't want to have to stop at 2!
Nikki Hunt at TinyTalk Baby Signing Mid Essex - Maldon, Witham & Braintree is AMAZING!!! This lady not only runs a successful household of her husband and 2 children but puts 120% into every single signing class. My one year old who was 13 weeks prem has come such a long way with communication and it's all because of Nikki xx
Nikki is an amazing teacher. Her enthusiasm shines through every single lesson. I have never seen her without a smile on her face. Nikki's TinyTalk baby sign classes are fabulous and so welcoming. She is a natural at teaching baby sign and nothing is too much trouble. My mum came with me the other week and also commented how wonderful the class was.
I know I've said it loads of times, but I've done over 20 baby classes with Jax and Sophia and yours is by far the best, and you are by far the best!
We've been to a lot of classes over the years and yours was the most practical, fun and welcoming by far. I've never walked into a room full of babies before and instantly felt calm and peaceful.
Absolutely love this class - 100% recommend - Nikki is very engaging, I don't feel judged for my mischievous toddler, and it's such an easy way to learn basic signing with our babies in fun and low pressure environment. Plus, there's a cuppa and a bit of chocolate during some free play time - which I usually get to drink hot! :)
TinyTalk is definitely my favourite class. Nikki is so personable, her passion is palpable and she goes above and beyond. I was worried about singing in public and learning sign language before going but it's broken down really well, easy to follow and very fun. I would highly recommend this class to anyone, I've also met some lovely mum and babies so far, I really look forward to class each week and get a lot from attending :)
We love TinyTalk! Nikki makes the classes so fun and engaging. I have picked up so many signs myself and my little girl knows 2 which she uses all the time and we are working on more signs! Such an amazing way to learn to communicate with your baby from such young ages. We love it and would highly recommend!
We absolutely adore our TinyTalk classes with Nikki! Nikki makes them so much fun, no pressure and interactive and your little one is able to learn signs and develop at their own pace. My little one has picked up more than 20 signs and our classes have really helped her language come on. Our classes are the highlight of our week and a brilliant thing to do on my one day off with my little one now that I'm back to work. We've met some wonderful parents and little ones too. Everyone should learn BSL, it's a wonderful experience and TinyTalk is a brilliant introduction to BSL signs for both parents and babies alike.
Absolutely incredible. My one year old is learning to communicate what he wants and needs and it's all because of Nikki and her amazing classes. the group is friendly, inviting and totally fun, my boy always enjoys himself and we cannot thank Nikki enough for what she does. She goes above and beyond to make the sessions the best they can be.
We will be forever grateful you've taught us the skills to communicate with each other! You've been the highlight of our week for months now, you are amazing! We will miss you!
Nikki is always smiling and welcoming. You can see baby sign is a huge passion of hers and we've really enjoyed the sessions. We've learnt so much and can't wait to use it as Robyn grows up.
I was really sceptical at first but it is the most interesting baby group I've been to. I love learning new signs every week and being able to teach the whole family. I feel like I can understand my baby's wants and needs better.
I never wanted to be part of baby classes when I became a parent, my friend made me come and I now come without her. Nikki makes the classes so enjoyable and fun, 100% recommend for learning, fun and socialising :)

Such an amazing interactive class. Oscar has such a great time every single week and absolutely loves Nikki. TinyTalk is one of the few groups where Oscar is engaged for the whole session.
I can highly recommend these classes! Not only does my little boy love every week but it gives me a reason (and want) to leave the house! Nikki is so friendly and knowledgeable of what she's doing and the hot drink and social time is lovely considering I usually spend 12+ hours of my day with no-one over the age of 8! Nikki makes you feel welcome week by week and learning signs to help communicate is great. Book people you won't regret it!
Nikki is absolutely amazing. Such a lovely, kind lady, nothing is too much or too big an ask. Being deaf myself sign language is highly important to me and something that I feel is important for my CODA daughter. Nikki has amazing adapting sessions ensuring I know what's going on with word sheets and reserved mats in a prime location. If you want to learn BSL I cannot recommend Nikki & Ted highly enough, me and Verity love it.
We love our TinyTalk classes and we love Nikki! They're the highlight of my little girl's week. They're informative, fun and social with absolutely zero pressure.x
I love coming to Nikki's TinyTalk classes. Not only is Jasper and the family learning to communicate, we are having fun meeting new friends, singing songs and catching up :)
Wow! Where should I start? Firstly Nikki has to be the friendliest and most enthusiastic teacher I have ever known. Secondly, the hall environment is lovely, bright and fun. Lastly, the course content is just perfect, not too much that you're swamped but enough to practice weekly with your child. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Nikki at this class. Thank you!
We truly love our weekly TinyTalk classes! Nikki makes you feel welcome and is always on hand to help outside of the class too! We have learnt so much since completing our first term at TinyTalk and Nikki goes above and beyond to make the classes fun and interactive and provides great refreshments at the end of each session. Would highly recommend.
