We could be what you are looking for!

TinyTalk has been such a huge part of our mum and baby journey, and I am so grateful for the role it’s played in Roman’s early communication. It was absolutely fundamental in helping him build those first communication skills, which in turn encouraged his early language development — and now he never stops talking! What’s even more lovely is that he still uses his signs alongside his speech, which is such a joy to see. Leah is truly remarkable at what she does. Her classes are fun, engaging, and hugely informative, but it’s the extra special touches that make them stand out. She has such a natural way with the children, but just as importantly, she sees and values the adults too. I’ve been a mum for almost 10 years and have been to countless baby classes over that time. TinyTalk with Leah is the very first one where I felt seen as just ME. Leah always checks in with the parents individually. Her classes are a safe haven for YOU to just be YOU, whilst still being supported as a child’s carer. This has meant so much to me as I imagine it has for others too. I will be eternally grateful to Leah and TinyTalk for giving me and Roman the gift of early understanding, acknowledgment, and positive communication — not only between us, but also within the wider community. It has truly been a special and invaluable experience. Beth & Little Roman Heswall TinyTalk 2024/5

*Calling out to all parents of babies under 2!* Myself and Dottie attend TinyTalk classes at Heswall St Peter’s church every Monday with Leah. It is an amazing opportunity for parents to learn new signs to teach their little ones to use at home and in the community. Not only do we learn the new skill of signing and signing with our babies and spending some good quality time, it is a fantastic opportunity to meet new mamas and for our babies to make life long friends! The sessions are so chilled and relaxed and there is very little expectation for everyone to follow a strict regime. Leah plans her classes appropriately to suit each and every baby there and also leaves time at the end for the babies to socialise and for us mamas to connect. As Leah has perfectly said in this video, teaching our next generation signs to communicate with others is an outstanding skill that will enable them to reach out to others who struggle with their communication and language. Do you also have a baby who shows signs of wanting to talk and becomes overwhelmed and stressed that they cannot express their wants and needs? They go from 0-100 because you don’t know what they want? TinyTalk teach parents and babies the first 50 basic signs to eventually eliminate these barriers to allow babies to sign their needs e.g. milk, food, cuddle or even show where they are injured leading to a happy, well regulated and communicative baby! So, if you know any parents that have babies come along to Leah’s class on Mondays at 10-11am in Heswall st peters church!! Ps. Leah brings beautiful homemade snacks for the end of the lesson
