I'm very passionate about sign language and have seen the benefits that baby signing has on children and their families. I have grown up with my sister who was severely deaf and had limited speech. It is amazing to
see how they can make themselves understood by using signs to communicate. This eased frustration as it was a way they could let us know what they wanted, needed or even how they are feeling!
I started attending TinyTalk classes with my son, Finley when he was 4 weeks old. It has been a lifesaver attending these classes through lockdown and has definitely helped myself and my son have some normality, meet some new friends and learn new skills at the same time!
TinyTalk classes are 1 hour long; the first half hour we have lots of fun introducing signs through singing, books and games. There are weekly themes such as going to the park, family etc so there is something different each week. There are also sensory activities to help develop your babies communication skills and musical instruments. The second half hour is social time for you and your little ones! Enjoy a chat with other grown ups while your little one learns to play and interact with others.
