The pride I felt when she first signed is indescribable and the excitement on her face when she realised I understood her was incredible. After that she started to sign a new sign every few weeks and when she learnt how to sign ‘more’ and ‘biscuits’ there was no stopping her - it's safe to say our biscuit budget increased. Not only was it a fun, educational and interactive class, I was able to meet new people and discuss parenthood with people who were going through it at the same time. Ava is now 2 years old and speaks non - stop, signing has really helped in aiding her speech as if she couldn't communicate the word properly she would sign it and it stopped the frustration a lot of children feel. Even now she will still sometimes say what she sees and sign at the same time. Her favourite sign at the moment is aeroplane.

I currently offer Baby signing classes - which is specifically designed for Babies from Birth up to 24 months. In our weekly classes we will use signing, songs and sensory equipment to help stimulate your little one and help aid overall development. You and your baby will get to learn BSL signs together while having fun and creating a stronger bond. You will also get to meet other Mums, Dads, Grandparents and/or Guardians over a nice cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit during our social time after the class.
