baby signing when I attended TinyTalk classes with my daughter Jovie. We always really enjoyed the interactive classes and loved learning a new skill. Being able to communicate with my daughter on her level has been invaluable in allowing Jovie to express herself. I have continued this journey with Jonathan, my son, who I have seen grow in confidence. Of course, his favourite sign is milk.

Over the past couple of years we have learnt lots about how to encourage and aid communication because Jovie has a speech delay. This inspired me to start teaching baby signing classes as I wanted to help others on their own speech and language journeys with their little ones as I could see the benefits that TinyTalk provided us on our communication journey.

What can you expect from my classes?

Everyone is welcome at our award-winning baby signing classes, which are fun, friendly and relaxed with no pressure or expectations. We learn British Sign Language signs through well-loved nursery rhymes, songs, stories and sensory play. In the second half of the session, the babies enjoy 30 minutes of free play whilst adults enjoy social time with biscuits and hot drinks. It's a lovely way to make new friends and build support networks!

Currently, I offer baby signing classes which are specifically designed for babies from birth up to 24 months. They are fun-filled classes that allow you to bond with your baby, develop their communication skills and help you to meet other like-minded parents. And who wouldn't want a biscuit and a well-deserved cup of tea or coffee!
