Hello! My name is Briana & I love being the Angus & The Mearns TinyTalk Baby & Toddler signing teacher!
I am proud to run our award-winning Baby signing & Toddler Talking classes across South Aberdeenshire & Angus. There are multiple options for classes each weekday, giving you a broad choice of locations & times to attend our super educational & fun in-person weekly classes. If you are unable to make your usual class, you are encouraged to attend a makeup class (where space allows), so you won’t miss out! Siblings also attend for Free, the class fee covers all siblings.

About Our Classes…
Baby Signing - Specifically designed for Babies from Birth up to 24m
In our weekly classes for Babies & their grown-ups, you will....
help your little one with key skills through play & sensory activities
learn to communicate with your baby before they can talk
see your baby grow in confidence & learn social skills
learn a new life skill in Sign Language yourself while having fun & bonding with your baby
meet & get to know other lovely local mums/dads/grandparents
Toddler Talking – Specifically designed for Toddlers from (approx) 16m through Preschool.
In addition to the benefits of our Baby classes, during our weekly (very active) classes for Toddlers & their grown-ups, you will…
build their communication skills both verbally & through using BSL signs
help our little ones feel understood and secure in their relationships with their carers, feel more confident in communicating their thoughts & needs, all of which can lead to less frustration for the whole family!
practice social skills (cooperation, sharing, teamwork, turn-taking etc), early learning (shapes, colours, numbers etc. ), & develop both fine & gross motor skills..... all whilst being very silly, using musical instruments & props, & generally having loads of fun!
We will have lots of fun (& educational! ) activities planned... however it is NOT in the nature of a toddler to always want to comply, is it?! We understand this completely, we keep realistic expectations & gradually introduce them to transitioning from very active activities to more focused activities, similar to a school setting (which is what we're trying to prepare them for! )
