Hello! I’m Anna; welcome to TinyTalk Aberdeenshire, where families across the county come together for fun, engaging baby signing classes that support early communication and confidence.
Who am I?
I’m a mum to one little girl and a very large Labrador. Before TinyTalk, I worked as a secondary school science teacher and in a boarding house; roles that taught me a lot about supporting children and building community.
My journey with baby signing began when my daughter was tiny.

My journey with baby signing began when my daughter was tiny.
We started signing together, and I was amazed at how quickly it strengthened our bond and helped her express herself long before she could speak.
When we moved back to Aberdeenshire, I immediately joined our local TinyTalk classes. I fell in love with learning BSL signs, the friendly atmosphere, and the wonderful community that grew around each session. So, when the chance came to become a TinyTalk teacher, I jumped at it. Now I’m proud to bring that same supportive, welcoming environment to families across the Northeast of Scotland.
What is TinyTalk?
TinyTalk offers baby signing classes in warm, friendly venues across Aberdeenshire. Each session gives babies, toddlers, and their grown ups the chance to learn through songs, play, sensory activities, and social time. Whether you are brand new to baby sign or already familiar with some signs, you’ll find a community ready to celebrate every milestone with you.
What can you expect from my classes?
TinyTalk Baby Signing is suitable from around 6 weeks. It’s an interactive signing, singing, and sensory class with a new theme each week, teaching useful BSL signs.
Each one hour class includes:
•Signing & singing: 30 minutes of nursery rhymes, action songs, games, and sensory fun (bubbles, flashing balls, scarves, parachute play, and more).
•Social time: 30 minutes to enjoy a hot drink (a rare treat as a busy parent! ), ask questions, eat biscuits, and let your little one explore toys while you meet other families and grow your village.
