If you're looking for a fun, friendly class where you can bond with your baby, learn simple signs together, and meet other local families, you're in the right place.
I'm Nicola, the only TinyTalk teacher in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke Central, and I'd love to welcome you and your little one to class.

Why TinyTalk?
TinyTalk combines British Sign Language signs, music, sensory activities and play to help babies communicate before speech develops.
Many families tell me they love seeing their baby:
• Tell them when they want milk, food or a favourite toy
• Join in with songs and nursery rhymes
• Build confidence through communication
• Reduce frustration by expressing their needs
• Develop language and listening skills
Make friends and have fun
But TinyTalk isn't just for babies. It's for parents and carers too. Our classes offer a warm, welcoming community where friendships grow alongside little ones.
Why I Teach TinyTalk
My TinyTalk journey began almost five years ago when I attended classes with my granddaughter.
She was born profoundly deaf, and our family was searching for ways to support her communication. TinyTalk became an important part of that journey. Through signing, she was able to communicate her needs, feelings and interests long before speech developed.
Today she has graduated from TinyTalk, and I still attend classes with her younger brother, who is hearing and loves signing just as much.
Seeing first-hand how signing transformed communication for both children inspired me to become a TinyTalk teacher so I could help other families experience the same benefits.

Classes start on 8th and 9th September.

Each class lasts one hour:
• 30 minutes of signing, songs, sensory activities and fun
• 30 minutes of playtime, tea, biscuits and friendly conversation

Favourite Sign:Biscuit This is one of the first signs my granddaughter taught me
Qualifications:Retired Nurse and NHS Manager. BSL Level 1
Favourite Film:Pretty Woman and lots of Musicals
Pet Hate:Bad manners
Secret Passion:Singing
I most admire:Anyone caring for children and managing life all at the same time, its not an easy task!
I love baby signing because:It supports little ones to communicate before they can speak helping parents to feel connected, more confident and understood too!
