I had looked at lots of classes and groups, but TinyTalk really stood out and quickly became the highlight of our week. The class structure of signing, singing and sensory was really good but what made it stand out was the social and support time at the end of each session. A chance to grab perhaps your first hot cuppa of the day and chat to other like minded parents.

I also began to notice as my children Molly and her younger brother Jack grew older and started to speak, their words were extremely clear and well spoken and more often than not their first spoken words were the same as those they had signed.

So not only did we have the benefit of communicating as a family before they could speak, when they did talk to us our conversations developed thick and fast and I believe the TinyTalk sessions played a huge part in this

SO WHY DO I THINK YOU WILL ENJOY MY TINYTALK CLASS?

Using British sign language TinyTalk teaches you and your little one to sign many things including the fundamentals to help make the frustrating days that bit easier so you can interpret what your little one is trying to tell you.

Such as..... Milk, Food, Sleep, Sore. All these signs will be picked up by your little one long before they can verbally communicate, helping them tell you what they need.

The Tiny Talk lasts an hour and is in two parts. First the class learns the signs through songs and sensory play, where little ones can get involved with magical light up sensory balls, musical instruments, bubbles and many more fun and wonderful activities.

The second part of the TinyTalk class was new to me, and may be to you. The time is dedicated to letting the little ones relax, you can practice signing with them and their little friends and they can play with each other. Mums and dads can grab a coffee and a biccie and sit and chat, I have never been to a class like it.

TinyTalk presents a great chance to meet new parents, and in my case many lifelong friends. Most of all being able to learn to communicate with your little ones early on, encouraging their development and helping them get a great start in life.
