Hello and Welcome to TinyTalk Fareham & Gosport! My name is Sara, your local TinyTalk teacher, BSL signer and mum of three boys, Ben, Jack and Ollie. I am currently on maternity leave, but classes are continuing thanks to one of my most experienced Mums, Nikki Shaw, who has now completed her TinyTalk teacher training......

TinyTalk Fareham & Gosport is pleased to be working in partnership with local Children's Centres who show their support by subsidising the classes at their venues, making them accessible and affordable.

Classes are available from birth to two years of age. Toddler classes will continue later in 2012 upon my return....

In the meantime, please feel free to still contact me with any queries, and either myself, or Nikki, will be pleased to help. For now, I look forward to enjoying being a TinyTalk mum with Ollie at Nikki's Friday morning class......X

Hi Guys,

Before I became a Mummy I was a Nanny for 15 years and had always had an interest in sign language & music. I gained my British Sign Language 1 in 2007 and then I had Evie-Kate, who's now nearly 4.

I wanted to be able to help her to communicate how she was feeling and what her needs were without tantrums and frustrations, but equally do something that we would both enjoy and get something out of.

I decided to do signing with her. Admittedly, when I started it was with a rival company because I lived in Scotland and there was no Tiny Talk around but then I moved to sunny Gosport and discovered our wonderful Tiny Talk Teacher Sara.

Evie-Kate and I thrived on Tiny Talk and she picked up sign after sign. Her speech just ran away with itself! We lived for friday morning's!

I have since had Logan, who's 8 months old, and we have continued with our signing with him which is reminding Evie-Kate of lots of signs she had forgotten.

When Sara announced she was pregnant, I decided that I wanted our TinyTalk experience to continue and jumped at the chance to become Sara's Mini Teacher. I only hope I do as good a job as she has and inspire you like she has me............certainly big shoes to fill but I will do my best.
