Hello and welcome to the web page for TinyTalk Baby Signing classes in Newbury. If you're looking to learn how to communicate with your baby before they can talk, then you've come to the right place!

My name is Sandra and I live in Newbury with my husband Sean and my lovely daughter Kara. We started signing with Kara from birth and I was so inspired with the TinyTalk classes that I attended, that I decided to become a teacher myself. This means that I am now able to offer this wonderful opportunity to parents in the Newbury and surrounding areas.

Imagine if you could communicate with your baby, finding out what was on their mind - if they were hungry, tired, or simply needed a cuddle. The signs you will learn at my TinyTalk baby signing classes allow all this and so much more!

My daughter is almost 2 years old now, and is just starting to talk. She already has a vocabulary of over 80 signs (increasing every week!), and she can tell us what she wants and needs. It is an incredible privilege to be able to communicate with your child so early, share jokes (yes, we do!) and just talk about what is going on around us. It certainly strengthens the bond we have as a family! Kara has just started to learn her colours, and it's incredible how quickly a child can learn when they have the right tools to be able to do so. TinyTalk Baby Signing is that tool!

Classes are small, informal, and very friendly, and will teach you many useful signs (based on British Sign Language and adapted for tiny hands!) to enable you to help your baby make sense of the world. Learning these signs is made easy through lively songs, classic nursery rhymes and great stories, and at the end of each class there is time for the babies to play with toys and socialise, while Mum (or Dad!) can enjoy a natter over a cuppa and a chocolate biscuit.
