Hi, I'm Phillippa and this is the home of TinyTalk South-East Cambridgeshire. I first began signing with my son when he was two months old. I bought the signing pack, DVD and CDs from the website and learnt the signs through watching the DVD a couple of times (most are very intuitive and thus very memorable). It was only when he was ten months old that we discovered classes. As we knew all the songs from the CD, I remember his face lighting up when we walked in (late!) to hear his favourite songs. From then on, TinyTalk became the highlight of our week and, as there were no classes near me, I decided it was time to put that right! The rest is history. I have been teaching for three years and love it now just as much as when I started. George is now four but the great thing is that I can now do it all over again with his little sister Saffron :)

The incredible thing about baby signing is that you can communicate in a way that would never otherwise be possible in a baby so young. There is no other way that Saffron would be chatting about birds at six months old!! It really is the most amazing experience and, I am sure, is responsible for George's excellent speech now. Baby signing is a window into their minds and your heart :)

The most important thing to me about my classes is to make sure that they are welcoming, inclusive and fun! You will not feel left out. Through running these classes, I have gained the most wonderful support network of mums who will do anything for each other and I love that they remain in touch outside of and after leaving classes. Do come and join us. I promise you this will be something you are so glad that you invested in!
