A warm welcome to TinyTalk's baby signing classes in Manchester - hosted by Nicki Mottram.

Hello and Welcome to my baby signing website. I'm Nicki your local TinyTalk teacher and mum to three gorgeous children, Jodie (6), Alfie (3) & Fearn (21 months) - quite a handful wouldn't you agree?

I have to be honest and tell you that it was my husbands idea to introduce baby signing into our lives when Alfie was 10 months old and he thought that being able to communicate with our son before he could speak was a fantastic idea. I then looked for a local class to take him to but I couldn’t find any so I decided to start my own baby signing class in Manchester! That was over 2.5 years ago and it has been an absolute pleasure to meet so many lovely parents and babies and share the joys and benefits of baby signing.

So what makes my TinyTalk class different from the other classes that you could choose?
Our classes are educational and fun!
We follow a structured lesson plan, we have thought about what we are going to teach you each week.
We sing traditional nursery rhymes; we don’t make our songs up.
We recap signs every 3rd week, and read sign supported stories.
We welcome babies from birth.
We offer fantastic value for money, and included in what you pay each week are hot drinks and biscuits.
We offer all important “social time” during the last 30 minutes of each class. During this time I can offer baby signing support to anyone that needs it, alternatively enjoy your coffees and have a chat with like minded people.
I also deliver training for interested parents, nurseries, childminders, nannies, childcare professionals or anyone who wants to know more.
