Hello, and welcome to TinyTalk Inverclyde! My name is Lori, mum to two TinyTalkers Isla and Fiona.
I knew I wanted to try baby signing with my babies before I ever even had kids. It sounds silly, but I first became introduced to the idea when I saw it in the film 'Meet the Fokkers'! When Fiona was born, I didn’t know any signs besides ‘milk’ and ‘I love you’, so I just started with those. I signed
‘milk’ every time I fed her and hoped I was doing this signing thing right! I then discovered TinyTalk, but the closest class was miles away. I began to wish for a class nearer to me, when suddenly it clicked - I'd start my own!
My classes are lively, structured yet relaxed, and loads of fun for babies and parents alike. It's a great place to meet like-minded mums and for babies to socialise with other babies. And of course, it's incredible to discover how amazing communicating with our babies can be! Babies have more to say than we realise!
