Hi! I’m Linda, A British Sign Language Level 2 Certified, TinyTalk Teacher and mum to 5yr old David, and 2yr old Lucy. I signed with David right from birth. When he was 17 weeks old I knew he understood the sign for ‘Milk’. At 6 months he signed ‘Milk’ back to me when he saw his bottle. No crying! I really feel that signing has helped us to bond closer and avoid guessing the cry. Lucy signs and talks many things about her daily life too.
The classes are very informal and friendly so if you need to feed or move around to keep your baby happy, please feel free. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first with all the songs and signing but please do as much or as little is comfortable for both you & your baby. (SCREAMING BABIES AND MUMS IN DRESSING GOWNS WELCOMED!) We repeat all the songs and signs frequently throughout the weeks and you will soon pick them up. Just relax and have fun with your baby. Every 3 weeks we have a signed story time where we sit on the mats and I sign a story to show how you can use books, words & pictures to reinforce the signs & language.
Baby Classes consist of ½ hour singing popular nursery rhymes & action songs with appropriate signs followed by ½ hour social time. This is when the babies can play with toys and each other whilst the adults enjoy a (Fair Trade) drink and a biscuit (or two!). This is the perfect time to clarify any signs you are unsure about or answer any baby signing questions you may have.
Toddler classes available now, focusing on language acquisition using more signs and spoken words together. Lots of songs, books, games and a parachute to keep all the little ones happy. Followed by social time.
I'm also available to fully train Nurseries and other Childcare Professionals. EYFS Links Included!

Time:	10:30am - 11:30pm
Location:	Orsett Churches Centre High Road (100 yards from the Orsett general store,) Orsett, RM16 3ER
Price:	£5.00 per family per class
Notes:	*BOOKINGS TAKEN NOW* All classes are pre book only and have limited spaces (20) in each. When all spaces are taken, you will be placed on the waiting list. Places are on a ‘First Come, First Served’ basis, with priority going to current TinyTalk customers. The TinyTalk term is 12 weeks. We kindly ask all families to pay for 10 classes (£50.00)and pay for two extra classes £5.00 each (upon arrival at each class) at the end of term This is to allow flexibility in family life. If you do not use all prepaid 10 classes by the tenth class, you can roll over paid classes till the end of term only. No roll over’s into the following term. *PAY BEFORE 31ST JULY, AND PAY ONLY £45.00 INSTEAD OF £50.00 FOR THE 10 WEEKS!!!*
Directions:	From the A13 take the Orsett turn off (known locally as the Orsett Cock roundabout) and head down the A1013 Towards Grays, (Standford Road) Take the first Right (Rectory Road) and then the 3rd on your Left (High Road) You should have the Whitmore Arms Pub on your right and the Church just after the turning on your left. Continue Down the High Road about 100 Meters and the Hall is on your left opposite the post office. Or Take the Grays Turn off From the A13 and take the Orsett Turn off from this roundabout.(1st Exit if going towards London/M25 , 3rd Exit if coming form London M25) (Stifford Clays Road) Stay on this road carrying on over all the mini roundabouts etc.. and you’ll end up on High Road in Orsett the venue will be on your right 100 meters before you get to the end of the road (Whitmore Arms pub will be in front of you if you do get to the end of the road by mistake) Busses stop regularly outside this venue.

I love baby signing because:
It gave me a window into my childrens minds. What do they want? The classes are really fun and it helps to keep me fit. I've made so many fab friends at TinyTalk.
