I first heard of baby sign language in 2003, then when I fell pregnant I wanted to learn more about this form of pre-verbal communication. I discovered there was nothing available in the Swindon area. We travelled far and wide researching and studying the subject before going down the road of bringing TinyTalk to Swindon.

Together Kyra, Thea and now Jessica along with our family have learned the endless joy baby signing brings to your relationship. Having insight into such a young mind is overwhelming not to mention has you brimming with pride.

A baby being able to understand and use signs can really help reduce the frustrations that they are unable to articulate and you can often see the "pleased as punch" look on their little faces when they communicate a thought or a wish.

Kyra first signed at six and a half months and developed vocabulary of over 100 signs, from practical signs like drink or more to conversational signs like duck and plane. I truly believe that this early communication has given my children a head start, really helping to develop both speech and imagination and set them well on the road to becoming confident toddlers and children.

Would you like to learn more about what your baby could be saying to you? Why not come and join us? I am now teaching my third daughter Jessica to sign. So why not come and join us in our learning process? Classes are very relaxed and our main aim is for you and your baby to have some fun.

TinyTalk Classes are 60 minutes. Firstly singing popular nursery rhymes and action songs with appropriate signs and the second half is social time. The adults can chat and relax with a hot drink and a chocolate biscuit (or two!) while the babies socialise.
