Welcome to TinyTalk Croydon and South Norwood. I'm Jackie, your local TinyTalk baby signing teacher,(BSL3). When my third granddaughter Ruby was born, my daughter began signing with her from birth. One day when Ruby was around 6 months old, my husband was trying to feed her baby rice and she was having none of it! He looked down and saw her making the sign for'milk' with her tiny hand. He let her drink her milk and then she was quite happy to take the babyrice! Such a wonderful moment convinced us both of the value of Baby Signing. By the age of 13 months Ruby had over 50 signs. And now aged two and a half, she has an impressive ability to hold a conversation!

What can you expect from a TinyTalk class?
You get half an hour of lively interactive singing and signing. I will teach around six core signs each week, although there are signs to accompany all the songs. Every third week we have a signed story. Mums are always keen to tell their anecdotes of their babies signing at home.
The second half hour is social time for you and playtime for the babies. We serve refreshments: a wide choice of drinks, always chocolate biscuits and often birthday cake! It's a great way for your baby to interact with other babies and for you to get to know other Mums. We also have Dads and grandparents too!
