Hello – I’m Freya and I have two little TinyTalkers of my own, Merryn and Tess. Merryn and I started attending TinyTalk classes when she was 7 months old and we both thoroughly enjoyed them. If I had to choose just one activity to do with a baby it’d definitely be TinyTalk because it’s like a play group, music group and signing group all rolled into one! Merryn started signing at 9 months and then went on to sign more and more each week. It’s great being able to find out what she understands, what she can see around her and what she wants. Now, Merryn is a chatter box, as are most of the friends that attended TinyTalk classes with her. I really believe signing helped develop her vocabulary and speech early.

Tess was born in October 2011 and, after a term's maternity leave, I'll be returning to teach TinyTalk classes, bringing little Tess with me.
