Hello and Welcome to my TinyTalk Colchester Baby Signing Classes!
I’m Debs, your local TinyTalk teacher running classes in West Bergholt and Feering. I am a BSL signer (Level 2) and mum to two children Joshua(6) and Sammy(4).

I started to sign with Joshua when he was about 10 months old by showing him animals as we looked at books. I was thrilled when on our first visit to a farm he could show me, with sign language, he wanted to see the pigs again! He soon picked up several signs and we had lots of fun signing to nursery rhymes and books. Joshua also used verbal language skills well in advance of his peers. I taught Sammy from birth and although it took him a while to make his first sign, he could understand what I was signing from just 4 months old. I believe Sammy was a very calm baby because he could understand me and make me understand his very simple needs of ‘food’ and ‘drink’ from a very young age.
My TinyTalk classes are for a full hour. The first half includes singing lots of action songs and nursery rhymes while learning signs. The second half is a social time where babies can play with toys while you enjoy a well earned drink and biscuit.
All classes are kept Relaxed and Fun.
